2018 Award of Excellence Dinner honors Muskie Harris ’73, Coach Clyde Horton ’47, and Brooks Robinson ’55

2018 Tiger Foundation Grants Awarded!

In March of 2018, the Tiger Foundation’s spring grant cycle awarded $17,479.68 to fulfill 11 different grant requests! Grants were given to the choral music department, girls’ soccer, boy’s soccer, journalism, the math department, the Spanish department, the Special Olympics Club, the music department, boys’ basketball, the social studies department, and the Ladies Club.

On December 6, 2017, Mr. Sam Blair and Dr. Sybil Jordan Hampton became the 2017 Tiger Foundation Award of Excellence recipients, recognized for their accomplishments in Acadmics! If you missed the dinner, you can check out their tribute videos!

‘Loving’ screening raises $10,000 for Tiger Foundation benefiting Central High

Little Rock native and LRCH graduate Jeff Nichols brought his new acclaimed film “Loving” to the Ron Robinson Theater on Monday, November 14, ahead of the movie’s wide release on Friday (18th). The ticketed event raised $10,000 for the Tiger Foundation.  Lost Forty Brewing, which is co-owned by Nichols’ longtime friend John Beachboard, along with another old friend, Spencer Andrews, organized and underwrote both the movie premiere and the social gathering celebration that evening.

2016 Awards of Excellence Dinner honors Christoph and Julie Keller and Roosevelt Thompson (honored posthumously)

Congratulations to Christoph and Julie Keller and Roosevelt Thompson (honored posthumously) who were presented with the Little Rock Central High Tiger Foundation “Award of Excellence” at our Tiger Foundation Event held on October 13, 2016, at the Clinton Presidential Center. They were recognized for their accomplishments, leadership, service and dedication to our community.
